ABOUT

The main goal of EXCELLABUST project is to address networking gaps and deficiencies between UNIZG-FER and internationally leading counterparts at EU level, by significantly strengthening marine robotics research within LABUST (Laboratory for Underwater Systems and Technologies, an integral part of University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing). EXCELLABUST twinning will enhance S&T capacity, and help raise staff’s research profile in marine robotics of linked institutions: UNIZG-FER, Consiglio Nazionalle delle Ricerche, University of Girona, and University of Limerick. In order to achieve the main goal, there are two main objectives (with sub-objectives) in the project

OUR ROLE: As CRIS is one of the three internationally leading institutions and experts in marine robotics, our main role is to transfer knowledge to LABUST. We are in charge of the dissemination and outreach activities, as well as organising one of the EMRA workshops and helping in the organisation of the BTS summer schools together with the rest of the partners. Furthermore, CRIS will host LABUST staff members, and send their own expert members to teach and train in the events organised under the EXCELLABUST project.
