The €12.1M project, AEROSUB (Automated Inspection Robots for Surface, Aerial, and Underwater Substructures), is coordinated by INESC TEC and aims to revolutionize the operation and maintenance of fixed and floating offshore wind farms. By developing world-class technological solutions that will help reduce operational costs for renewable energy production infrastructure in extreme environments. To make this a reality by 2030, various robotic solutions will be equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and data analysis capabilities.
