The CRIS team had the pleasure of participating in the OCEANS2024 Halifax conference and exhibition (23-26 September). The event brought together over 100 exhibitors and more than 2,000 attendees, creating an exciting atmosphere filled with networking opportunities and inspiring discussions within the OCEANS community.

Representing CRIS at the conference were Prof. Daniel Toal and PhD student Cillian Fahy, who showcased the team’s latest research developments. Two papers were presented:

Fault-tolerant SCADA for UAVs In Inaccessible Environments, with PhD student Kanishk Vishwakarma as the main author.

Automated Detection of Sacrificial Anodes on Offshore Windfarms for ROV Inspections, authored by PhD student Cillian Fahy.

A huge congratulations to Cillian and Kanishk for their outstanding contributions, and well done to the entire team for representing CRIS at this remarkable event!
